"Vote for the Future You Want" and make a difference in building an equitable, stable and sustainable world
Posted June 13, 2012
Until 14 June, the world can vote among 100 recommendations that will be presented to the heads of state at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, or Rio+20. The 100 policy recommendations are a product of the Rio Dialogues, an online forum of 12,000 participants from civil society, academia, governments and the wider public. People are encouraged to join the initiative by voting their preferred recommendations at http://vote.riodialogues.org and spreading the word on Twitter by using #riovote .
One of the options to vote on the topic "Sustainable Development as an Answer to the Economic and Financial Crises" is "New institutions should be created to steward and manage the global commons and adopt commons-based economic models". IASC invite his members and friends to give this little recommendation!
