Chinese Commons Study Network

A Chinese Commons Study Network was established in 2017 and up to now includes 60 Chinese scholars studying on commons. It was facilitated by the team of Prof. Yahua Wang at Tsinghua University via a WeChat group, the most popular cell phone APP in China, and a public account. The WeChat group is used for daily discussion and connection, while the public account is for pushing articles, reviews and announcements related to the team.

In the year of the 50th anniversary of the 'Tragedy of the Commons'-publication by Hardin, the public account is planning to push summaries of the key literatures in Chinese to highlight the importance and the historical processes of the commons studies. So far, there have been seven pieces of the literature on staged reviews of the commons studies summarized with over tens of thousand readers browsing.

The following messages planned to push to our audio will be the summaries of reviews on methodology for the commons studies. These messages are gradually promoting the concept framework, the research traditions and the theory of the commons studies to scholars in Chinese.
