The Latin-American and Carribean Environmental History Society (SOLCHA), in cooperation with the National University of Costa Rica invite you to the IX SOLCHA Symposium, to be held at the city of Liveria (Costa Rica), July 16-20, 2018. This symposium will be organized by The Observatory for Acro-elogical and Environmental History (OHAA), the Regional Government of Chorotega, the Institute of Social Poupualtion Studies IDESPO), and the School of History / Masters of Applied History of the National University of Costa Rica.
One of the panels, entitled 'Looking at the commons. Methodological learnings in comparative perspective America-Europa' will be organized by IASC-member José-Miguel Lana, former IASC-Council member and -President Leticia Mernio, and Antonio Ortego Santos (download English summary in pdf).
