ICARUS II Conference Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues:

ICARUS is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the second ICARUS meeting to be held at the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment on May 5 through 8, 2011. ICARUS-II follows on the highly successful ICARUS-I meeting organized in February 2010 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The theme of the ICARUS-II meeting is "Vulnerability and Adaptation: Marginal Peoples and Environments."

Hertie School Post-Doc Fellowships - Governance and Methodology

The Hertie School of Governance invites applications for two Hertie School Post-Doc Fellowships in the field of Governance and Methodology

The two indicators fellowships offer an opportunity for qualified post-docs or advanced pre-docs to contribute to the development of original governance indicators as part of the annual Hertie School Governance Report. The fellowships are for one year, but are renewable, and carry a stipend of €30.000 each.

Call for panels and papers: Conference of the Commission on Legal Pluralism

We would like to inform you that the Jubilee Congress of the Commission on Legal Pluralism (1981-2011) will take place on September 8 – 10, 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa

The congress is organized in cooperation with the Centre for Legal and Applied Research (CLEAR), the Research Chair in Customary Law and the Chair for Comparative Law in Africa, University of Cape Town, South Africa.
